We’re still pillaging that bitch too. The air chillers just went to Sheas IIRC
Yes they did…lol my company did the relocation design for Shea’s. as well as the condition survey fro the Aud
It’s hard to see what’s come of it these days…
i wonder how hard it would be to get a paintball game going in there. is it hard to get in there?
I got in there a couple years ago. I almost took a seat but got tired of carrying it. The way we got in has since been sealed with a metal grate.
Another of my friends was walking by one time and got in when someone left the garge door open.
As far as I know, you’ll need some tools to get in now. That is of course breaking and entering. (Along with trespassing) The risk is up to you.
such a shame they never atleast kept it up to be used for like highschool or college tournaments SOMTHING… to see it like that now is sad altho i must say i expected it to be worse than that by now
Yeah one of my friend’s broke in a while back and stole some broken (and maybe one intact) hockey sticks from the last game played there, which was what, like 10 years ago? Still really sad to see it the way it is now
i figured it would have been worse inside. ive played in places with a higher risk factor of being caught. im not too concerned about playin some ball in there lol
If you can pry open the grate in the back (right next to where they park people for the sabres games, you can go down a metal staircase into the bowels of the aud. (trust me its nasty down there, bowels is the correct word)
The staircase is missing steps though so be careful. From there, you can get to pretty much everywhere.
When I was there, the power was still on and the elevators still worked. Mind you this was at least 5 years ago. Good luck!
i would love to get in there. brings back so many memories. I’ve heard that the garage door actually pulls up just enough to slide under it. if it wasnt for the risk of getting caught or getting shot I would def. consider getting in there.

the graffiti is what hurt me most…
wow. really sucks to see it that way. i never really went there for hockey games, but always went there for Blizzard games. lots of memories in that place…
I like the track marks over the plaster on the ground… im sure its just maintenance vehicles but what if some people busted some atv action in there lol
