Microsoft C++ Error

when i try to do things on my computer sometimes this error comes up and closes my program. even sometimes when im just browsing around looking at files on my hard drives it does it too…

WTF is it? its pissing me off and has pushed me over the edge whenever i tried to click a file to be burned onto a cd and the error came up…

comes up as ( Microsoft Visual C++ runtime Library error)
and says “Runtime Error!”

is there anyway to fix it? its making me pull my hair out…

Just download and run this file.
This the run-time re-distribution package for Microsoft Visual C++.

Had the same problem on some comps at work, this fixed it…

thanks alot mike, I’ll try it out and see how it works

nope… Im still getting the error

still doin it… :frowning:

Theres gotta be a way to fix this

I have no other guesses. Sounds like “DLL Hell” to me.

Last time I had any sort of C++ error and it closed whatever program it felt like I had a bad stick of RAM.

what is it? something like I dont have enough memory or sometime?

memory broke?

No it’s not that you don’t have enough memory, if it’s the problem that I had.
It’s that the actual physical RAM is bad, corrupt etc. and it drops information and then the program closes, from my understanding.
Someone who knows a little bit more like Sonny could possibly step in and go into more detail about it but I know there are RAM tests out there to see if it’s a problem, try google to find something on it.

Check your event log right after it happens to see what it has to say about it.

Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer

It will probably be in the application or system section and have a red exclamation point.

What’s the process name that is making that error pop up?
