Mid-Engine Corvette C8 2020

Are these all Mules? I though production hadnt even started yet.

Did you take that pic? Looks local from the amount of snow.

I just found it on the web. No idea where it’s from, I didn’t get it from the source.

A truck loaded with ten mid-engine Corvettes sits at a stoplight just outside of General Motors’ Milford Proving Ground in southeast Michigan.

Engine block heater?

Keep these coming GM! The prices on other vettes are dropping HARD.

I still want that Yellow C5 Z06. If I can get one for 10-12K with 50kish miles I’d be stoked!

Kinda neat

And this is why I want electric. Too bad new Hummer wasnt out #84months0interest

Being the first to buy the latest generation of any car always comes with surprises.

The vette builds IIRC at the plants aren’t a specialized team unlike many other performance cars. They definitely weren’t at the engine plant.

Same dickhead that would put on half the manifold bolts and drop some inside the heads on the 2.0L is the same dickhead building the vette engine.

Well the engines are built here in Tonawanda. But the cars are hand made in bowling green Kentucky. With any first year corvette, they are always the worst ones to buy. I know that in my c6 generation, there was almost 200 refinements or revisions. The 2 that stick out was the differential and ending the shift to reverse when parking.

What was the reason behind this to begin with?

So the battery wouldn’t die :joy:

MY20 Corvettes will be rarer birds between the strike delay and now COVID

:exploding_head:

Well since their employees are assigned based on seniority rather than skill, you got one of the shit bag members who said “good enough” and left his post 2 hours early to go to the bar.
