Mid-Engine Corvette C8 2020

This car is so special the zo6 and zr1 are both performance cars at a level you most likely will never see again from an oem.

That it went over 200 is impressive, but how fast it went from 20 to 150 is just insane.

Literally looked like kmh not mph

20-150 in 10 seconds sounds like it would be fun.

Idk, my Miata can go from 20-150mph in about seven days.

Man corvettes have gotten fat. ZR1 weighs 3670 DRY!

I mean a c6 zr1 was 3300ish, and the c7 zr1 is like 3450ish.

You talking 3800+ wet.

So are they still going to make the next level up by putting electric motors on the front wheels

Josh, they should have given you a shot at it.
I enjoyed Farley saying “Game On”. I assume the Canadian built GTD will take another swing at it.
But as Tony Roma “The things we’ve learned from creating the various models so far and the opportunities we have in the future with this chassis are incredible. The ZR1X is not the end of the story, it’s just the latest chapter.

It really is some amazing stuff. Plus with mag ride you put it in touring mode and it’s easy to street drive. My viper breaks ya back

They really need to work on getting the weight down. 41XX for zr1x is insane to me.

It’s tough when you have a front drive package, battery etc.

I like how the zr1 drives over the zr1x, but I also like the z06 vs the eray.

The Porsche 911 was faster on track than the ZR1x, with half the horsepower.

misha did a review and thinks the ZR1 is faster on the track than the X if it had a proper driver, and that you could probably shave 10 seconds off the time. Someone did a split screen comparison with the GTD and it makes it look like grandma is driving the ZR1. they never touch the rumble strips let alone cut any curbs.

GM would probably take curb rash and tire chunks out of his pay.

Guys, these are gm engineers driving the cars. While they are very very good drivers, they are not pros. The 911 gt3 rs was like 2:23 at cota and tbe zr1 was 2:18…

yea we know, at least i do. i think they missed an oppurtunity doing that. Most people dont understand what a difference a driver can make, especially around that track.

Also, nburg is mostly turns, so ACTIVE areo is a HUGE advantage. Imagine if there was something, like an extreme zr1x that had active areo. I wonder if it would hold the all time record with a pro driver?!
