Use phosphoric acid to remove next time and it won’t flash. PPG 579 works just as well.

also working on a model of the trunk side firewall which I hope to have made out of a sheet of aluminum. I’ve modified it slightly from my cardboard template.

not really poorly, just going through some oil due to the high mileage. I don’t plan on doing anything with it other than making sure the oil is always topped off.
