If you are implying that yours is not yet running or driving, wouldn’t you be the one walking?
Got my rear seat delete in. The rear seats weigh about 50 lbs so it will compensate for the weight of the cage.
I attempted to install the throttle controller but it appears that they sent me the wrong harness. There are plastic tabs on the inside of where it plugs into the gas pedal which stop the harness from fully connecting. The red circles show where there should be slots to accept the tabs like on the stock harness (left).

Sorry to hear about your last Mini, I lurked your thread about the accident. I actually really like the red and it can definitely look great if done proper. Glad to see you were able to purchase your old one for the mods/spare drive train. Excited to see some updates, keep up the good progress! These are super fun cars :tup:

Yeah it has a 90° Elbow in the middle that screws into the old mounting point for the seat back hinge plus two more attachment points in the rear corners.
The main hoop for the rear cage arrived today.

I billed out over $2700 in new parts for the paint warranty, and almost $2000 in body and paint labor. along with my tech’s re-building of the motor, this is a brand-new car.
another one may be coming down the line within the next few weeks, too ;).

It had to be stored because it was registered in my dad’s name. I should get it back in a month.
