I don’t have all the answers but you could try these below:

Problems:

  1. Could be throw-out bearing:
    See thread: http://www.son240sx.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7904&highlight=clutch+noise

  2. Really weird noise (give more info).
Is it clicking?? If so, there’s a small electrical cable that runs to mafs and usually secured with a screw to the top of the plastic intake - check to see if it’s not flying into the fan fins with it’s plastic holder.

  3. Clanking noise in turns - very likely it is your lower ball joint (check your wheel bolts first to save some time). Then try this - if it’s so bad it clicks - you could raise front of your car and see if the wheels seem somewhat loose - grab each wheel and try to move side-to-side and top-to-down several times. While you are there - shine a light and take a look at the ball joints while they’re mounted - one reason they tend to go is if they crack and s8 gets in there while lubrication goes out and they wear - shine some light on the rubber and see if you got grease / cracks.

  4. re: lights

*edited: oops… lower not cv :bash: *

If you could give more info, it’d be awesome - some of these ideas I gave are sort of shooting in the dark from the most common similar issues I’ve run into.

go to a mechanic.

if you cant diagnose the problem yourself what are the chances you can fix it yourself, save the hassle.

well seeing as he has a 92 240sx Im going to have to say he doesnt have any cv shafts upfront.

Soooooooooooooooo as spilner said goto a mechanic, he’ll beable to take care of your problems for ya
