Misfiring below 4k

update: checked timing and it was spot on, 15*, checked for bad ground on maf, fine as is.

under light-moderate acceleration it will misfire above 4k, if you give it more gas it is just not as noticeable.

maybe distributor itself or even something with the fuel delivery?

Sounds like an EGR problem to me. Or a vacuum leak of sort
