misfiring

I drove to the car wash over on Crane Highway today and got my car washed there. Drove back to the house, no problem. Let the car sit for about an hour. Me and Jeremy headed out and I was following him. Got out onto Ordinance road and the car seemed to loose power one second then the next second if i gave it more gas, it was fine. I pulled over and checked it out. Did not see anything except my zip tie came undone that was holding my passenger O2 extension wire from scraping the ground. I was leaving the parking lot I pulled into and it did it again. The car was also idleing really rough. The exhaust got really loud also. So I turned around and went to the house. Parked for a few minutes then decided to go where I was going anyways. I was just getting on rt. 10 and I saw my SES light flashing. I pulled over and shut off the car. My SES light stays on cause my driver side O2 sensor is throwing a code. I tryed calling Jeff up, no answer. I turn the car back on and head down rt.10. The car was fine once it was rolling and the light was not blinking either. Even after I got off rt. 10 and hitting red lights, it never did it and I got to where I was going. I was leaving the place I was at and it started it for a few minutes and then everything back to normal. I read the owners manual and it said if the light is blinking, it is from a misfire. I guess that would be the reason it sounded as though I had a Joe O cam for them few minutes. That would also explain the loss of power.

What could be causeing it to misfire? I know a bad spark plug or wires would but why only for a few minutes and only before I get the car up to a faster speed? What else could it be and has anyone had or saw this problem before?

Did you hose down the engine compartment? Could me moisture.

I am thinking now that it might be a spark plug wire or one of the O2 sensors cause the one was setting off a code for the last few weeks. I am hoping a guy calls me back and will be bringing over autotap so we can check it out and see what codes and what cylinder is mis-firing
