Hood looks almost as good as you do

:nerd:

lol thanks Carl.

Man and I thought LT1 owners had it hard enough just owning an LT1 LoL

what does my DSM have to do with any of this?

do you realize hood pins are for more than just looks? Do you know what happens when you dont have hood pins? say bye bye to your hood, windshield and maybe even put a nice dent in your roof when your hood flies up at 80 mph. so yeah, dont listen to ^^^^ and get those hood pins on ASAP.

find someone that knows how to paint. car in sig has a painted CF hood, only clue that it was CF is the hood pins.

if it was my car i wouldnt want to have to wait for a shop to “install” my hood. grab the hood and do it myself when the hood arrives. if you dont have a car big enough to carry the hood, drive over with a wrench and do it in the parking lot.

mr. crabby pants never lets anyone touch his car…

guessing you mean me… and yes because i like to be the only one to blame if something goes wrong and avoid these situations. (hood not getting latched and causing damage).

the hood plus installation was free…why would he waste time installing it himself?

Who cares? Paul at swerve offered to help me install my hood at the shop, and he was swamped with work, but i took it home to do because of how busy he was

a guy at innovative helped me carry out my wheels to my car, should i have said “No, i don’t want your fucking help, i can do it myself” ?

they were nice enough to offer, they didn’t have to, and now he’s just thanking them publicly to show how mike and the others at innovative care about their customers

How did nyspeed manage to shit this thread up.

re-read that.

nyspeed.

Good point…Then again you made a callout thread the other night.

Wow, this went south QUICK.

:bloated:

people never cease to amaze…

it looks good nick, glad it worked out for you
