Whats a good shop around here to install hood pins?

I have a carbon fiber hood and I bought these aero hood pins and need them installed but I want a place that knows what they are doing.

Any reccomendations?

Here is the pins I bought.

go to any local, reputable body shop. if they wont install, they will point you in the right direction

and thanks for the link. i guess i will finally buy a carbon fiber hood. painted, oem, CF hood that is lol

I am not aware of any local shops that could capably drill though carbon fiber without screwing up the weave. Wait a sec, doesn’t T70-Tsi have those on his Eclipse?

Is it this? http://www.racepa.com/content/index.php?topic=4050.msg56157#msg56157

yeah. talk to kurt

Alright, now when you trap 330 in the quarter your hood won’t blow off!

yeah, my hood never sat all the way down right so now i need these to make it stay down on the sides, it was sticking up so bad that the last time i was at prp the guy told me to close my hood because i left it open but it was really closed just wont go down all the way.

I was concerned with messing up the weave whicch is why i wanted to see some personal opinions on shops that could capably do this for me.

who is kurt?

bluemeanietsi / T70-tsi

cool thanks, I wasnt sure if any of the supporting vendors on this site might chime in on wanting to do this for me.

I found a shop to do it so that i dont screw it up. seriously.

Firstly, you the man for buying from bill (owner of deft racing) He’s one awesome guy.

Secondly my buddies all buy from bill and the local place that installed them was the place in wexford. I forget the name it was a speed shop then its now like a hotrod shop. (chaz used to work there)
