so simple yet so loltastic.

I say do the basics and then maybe find a better geared rear end. With headers exhaust and bla bla bla you prob wont feel shit. On my 88 350 tpi i did headers exhaust throttle body and what not and with the truck being so heavy i couldnt tell a diff. I know the vortec will respond better but still a lot of weight to move. Now with my jeep i did gears in it and thats it and wow instant difference. Im sure you could find a bolt in axle with better gears 373 or 411s would be huge.

hang them rubber ball sacs off the rear bumper, its made for these trucks!

oh, u should get a big chips decal since u wanna b a bad ass in ur cop truck

spray it

lol

Dude it’s an SUV, and not even a sporty one. Invest your money into something that makes sense…

Why don’t you give me half the money your were gonna to spend, then we’ll go out back, I’ll kick you in the nuts, and we’ll call it a day!

I say swap in an aftermarket servo in the tranny, it is super easy and you might chirp 2nd under full throttle.

Then run true duals off the stock exhaust manifolds or find cheap long tubes and duals.

Intake and save your money.

Maybe buy a 5.3L from a newer truck, look for one from an SSR to get aluminum to loose some weight and swap that in.

Oh and cop cars rule, I can’t wait to make my 2006 Crown my DD.

how much are you willing to spend?

he said in the first post $2000 minus what he needs to fix it.

you can get a whole swap for like $1K

Good point,i thought about getting an Eton posi with 3.73 gears.

As far as removing the spair tire and jack goes, well i never really travel all that far from home and i also have AAA.Point taken tho.

Dude don’t put an Eton in the truck, if anything look on ebay for a used GM posi with some 3.73 gears and swap them in.

Ebay posi & gears $200
1-2 Shift servo $200
Used long tubes and full exhaust $600
Intake $200
Tune ?

Done

She’ll be loud as you want, do siqq heaters, and chirp 2nd. Still will get buses pulled on though if you race anyone.

The thing with the 5.3L is from what i have read they really don’t make much torque down low like the Vortec 5.7L does. Now maybe a 6.0L might be a better option.

My brother has a '03 2500HD 4X4 with the 6.0L and 4.11 gears. That friggin truck takes off like a bat!! (for a truck that is)

Sounds good, the tune will cost a tad over $200 as well.

I am really thinking about adding this…

^Haha, this is coming from someone who owns a '99 Yukon…Atleast thats what your profile says.

It was heads and cam, and less mileage and less shitty than your POS
