Gonna go with a K&N drop in (no need for a CAI,has a pretty good stock intake),160*T-stat,timing bump,shift enhancement,EGR delete,A/C delete.3.73’ gears,corvette servo,phatter rear tires,(this thing spins to easy),and some exhaust work.
Other than that its just getting anything else it may need.
Next year i plan on getting a nice spring/summer/fall cruiser.This Tahoe will just be my winter ride.So far i’ve been pretty good with keeping the salt and sh*t off of it.I spend anywere from 5-7 bucks a week keeping it clean.This spring i plan on gutting it and going through everything…
Some people have told me that i have a nice ‘Police classic’ on my hands and i should do whatever it takes to keep her in good condition and ‘as is’… Honestly their are not many '99 Z56 Tahoes left around in this shape,esp with the milage mine has.Most have been retired with anywere from 140K-170K.Most PD’s hung on to these Tahoes MUCH longer than the average police car…Most police ‘cars’ would be retired @ 80K-130k miles.
