Okay well I’m very pleased to see that we have a good demand for a photo shoot. So far the list looks like:

Also if you guys have the chance to take some pics of backrounds of areas you’d like to have the photo shoot at, please post them up here so that way we can decide on where to go so we don’t just “wing it” at the meet.

Wow, amazing how I ended up in the list even though I haven’t posted. hehe
You guys know I’d love to come out and do a big photoshoot, but I have my Rocky Mountain Run planned for the 4th and 5th. I really hope to see lots of you out for that and we will be back in time for a meet on the evening of the 5th. We should be arriving back in Edmonton around 4:30-5:00pm.
So for all those out there who are interested be sure you get everyone you can out for the 2-day event, it’s going to be a blast!

Oh no I can make the shoot if we do it in the evening, I’m just saying that Dave got a little ahead of himself…hehehe.
But let’s get a whole bunch of NECC out there to represent on this cruise! 
Sept. 5th is probably a no-go for me. That’s cutting a little too close to the return from my honeymoon.
So I found 2 spots that are ideal.
The first place over looks the city center and will look good.

The other spot I found is where Edmonton Prelude Club had their photos taken.
There is also a very nice fountain that we can use here.

BTW which Kelsey’s is the meeting at? Could it be arranged to be one close to one of the photo sites, i.e. SB Calgary Trail location?

I just posted the address above. I think we will still meet at the (11736 104Ave) Kelsey’s because there are some of us who live in the north end and this will be mainly a southside meet just because of were we have to go. It isn’t that far from the first photo spot.

Note: The Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel downtown (105 st & 102st) has a good Parkade to park on top of and it’s usually pretty dead Sunday nights. It’s a wicked shot becasue the Skyline is right behind it… Unless that new condo tower blocks it now… it’s been a while since I’ve been there. It’s an Idea anyways.
I’ll likely make it out on Sunday too.

About 24 members. Any ideas yet exactly where we’re going to take these shots? Here’s a kinda nice view of the city on Strathern Crst (SP?) which maybe big enough to hold all of the cars. Although I kinda took it at a bad angle.
Looks like as good a spot as any. It’ll be a nice cruise out there from Kelsey’s too.

I’d much prefer to shoot in a location right downtown with the buildings towering over in the background. I know the location of the shot above and it doesn’t really work too well for cars, I’ve tried.
