i just read in the paper the other day that one of the creators of the nuclear bomb lives in moon township now… it’s kind of interesting to know that someone like that is close…

another little fact about moon that i don’t think alot of you will know is that there was a nuclear missle silo in the middle of moon township, it’s in the woods surrounded by residental area, not much left, they left it open and abandoned for years but now it’s sealed off and not too much is left

anyone else heard about this silo or this guy??

there was a silo in west deer also. has since been retired.

it was the NIKE site. it was off of forest grove road. back past the firemans place past the elementry school. it is by a older housing community.

There was a Nike site behind Elizabeth Forward school too… they used it as a practice football field

i’ve been there afew times, in order to get there, you got to go though a private road, and at the end of that road theres a small road leading in, but thats chained off, i ussually park on a near by street and walk though the yards, the people on the private road seem like they wouldn’t be the nicest to people who park there

yeah… i fyou think that those old nike sites are some big deal, you obviously don’t know the vast amount of them around the area… plus some of the things that some of the factorys around our area dealt with during the wars.
