More Dyno Charts...continuous thread...

The legacy has to be a blast to drive!!!

With the 6 speed it’s easy to stay in the powerband and it really goes for a bigger/heavier car. Very comfy. Very sleeper. I really like that car.
I had a chuckle during street tuning because as the power got up there we had to turn stability control off to keep it from freaking out during highway pulls.

Nice LGT! Ugh, I am going to end up getting one :frowning:

i saw perry’s car. that thing was pretty cool, and definitely a sleeper!

Who holds the highs dyno numbers this year on nyspeed ? I know Bills pretty high up there.

AWD it’s the Evo we work on and tuned which made 549 whp here and 674 whp on a Dynojet.
2WD I can’t say because they’re being snky. I will say that one of the Supras we built and tuned would easily be king if we had tires that would stick on the dyno for it. On low boost it almost made as much as the high # for the dyno for the year (73X vs 75X whp), but it has crappy old street tires and wouldn’t stick at higher boost.

the 2009whp supra lol. nobody can beat that

We’ll see what I can do

I was there for that run, hahah.

Nick’s 06 STI, Dom3R turbo at 21-22 psi, ebay top mount intercooler and quiet exhaust.

This made noticeably less than the Dom3R usually makes on an STI with a freer flowing exhaust and a good FMIC (25ish whp) at the same boost level, but it’s quiet and he didn’t pay for a front mount or the install on one, all while making a lot more power than a stock turbo setup and spooling up nice and quick. Not a bad deal…

Shown compared to a stock 08 STI:

Just got back from the dyno… it’s a sad day. I’ll let mike post the dyno graph. I guess it’s time to buy fuel injection. Anyone interested in a blow thru 950 ?

On a side note Mikes a great guy. Thanks mike maybe we’ll have better results next year.

hey mike…
whats going on with project Voltron? Going to wait till '10 to get er back out down the 1320?

Blown&Stroked I don’t need to post it if you don’t want…let me know man. I was hoping the Camaro would have it’s day, but I guess it’s not ready yet. It was good to see you guys!

MTCS: We put Voltron together in a few days and made our point by running low 10’s in a car and mod combination that cost less than the cars other people were starting their builds with, let alone what they spent on the car plus mods on builds that spanned years. We took it apart after that season a few years ago so I could get it painted. We haven’t touched it since. I never even had it painted. I have no plans to bring it back at this time, but have no plans to sell the shell either.

We did resurrect my pro rally car this year after that sat for 4ish years. I haven’t put it on the road yet, but it’s up and running. I’m planning to sell it as I don’t have time to run it.

You can post it… I’m going to test my boost gauge and bypass valve with an air pump because I dont think I’m making 15# like you said… I guess 9# making around 400rwhp isnt bad… Oh well there’s allways next year .

Damn mike, that sucks. Always nice to see some quick subies. Any plans for any upcoming shop builds?

MTCS: Nothing I’d consider a shop build at this point, but I plan to do some lapping days for fun next year so I’ll need something to play in.

Use my car for a shop build.

Well, if you change your mind…

I came in early to baseline this car before the guys get here and start wrenching on it. It made a good amount more power than I expected. It has a 3" cat back and I guess it really helps this car. The lighter than stock wheels help too.

What are you guys dioing to it?
