LOL, seriously $650… sheesh I bought my Rex for $800, never had to do anything to it the whole time I had the car other than an Alternator.
yup, that is what he said it would be for everything and he comes highly recommended by a few different people. Well at least I have a govt check coming…

update on the cat…
For ~$800 I got a new cat, dist rotor, dist cap, spark plugs, electrical wires. All to pass emissions in CT which I was going to do this Saturday.
So this week my engine light pops on. (insert many obsenities)
I decieded to take it to the emissions place today (few and far between in CT). Tell the guy what work I have had done. He tests it for $20 and says its an O2 sensor. MF!! Couldn’t this just have been replaced in the first place, to avoid the above costs!?!??!
