well im bored at work so i decided to start a thread that documented my last moto trip…
prepare yourself because the pics are from my IG complete with “hipster angles and filters”
anyway the plan was to hit 5 states and 6 state parks on the trip which would be about 10 days long. it would be Woz, myself, our mutual friend Jimi and his gf.
well the govt shutdown really fucked over that idea while we were on the road. thankfully we managed to make it to the grand canyon and zion before the parks closed…and found our way into arches after it was shut down. :snky:
however shortly after that venture the keepers on my rear head decided to fail and i floated an intake valve along with cracking the guide clean off. we were stranded in co for a few days till we found a truck to get us back to SoCal.
all in all it was a great trip till the engine failure. did about 1800 miles with a couple of rad dudes im stoked to call my friends.
so now the back story is out of the way ill spam some photos.
a few days before we left for what was supposed to be a 3000 mile trip i had to stop up and have slim work his magic making new bars

ran out of fuel on i-70
the 25 mile 4x4 dirt “road” secret entrance to arches
pavement was a real treat after that
it was kind of weird being alone in the park
one of the last fuel ups before mechanical catastrophe
woz is not stoked to be heading home on 4 wheels
tear down happened that week
im glad to say its back up and running as of last week…putting some break in miles on the new weiscos and practically new heads before the next trip in two weeks…
