Bike looks very nice. The exhaust looks great after being painted. Who bought my old 636 from ya? I miss that bike.
Some guy named Naturo lol, no lie.
Although Deebo’s can definitely pass as it’s twin lol.
Careful raising the rear, a half inch is substantial. You changing the rake angle, which WILL allow for easier turn in, but will also lead to a "nervous suspension. I know this from riding your bike when the previous owner had it, I got tossed into the worst bar end to bar end tank slap and I was only going 45-55 mph and was relatively upright.
Yeah I asked about that on WERA and SVRider, I guess most people that track their bikes say the setup with a 1/4"-1/2" suits the bike the best with a 185 rider. I weigh 185-190 so I shouldn’t experience too much as far as rear end lightness. I’m also buying sonic springs, 15w fork oil and eventually emulators so that this thing will drop into twisties like a champ.
Set your sag properly on day one
The second my parts come in, I’m dialing everything in to my specifications. Suspension mods are huge, plus when properly set up are a HUGE confidence booster.
Agreed with this, looks great now that it’s all wrapped up and finished.
I have a slight gap in-between my baffle and the cap of the exhaust, and packing has been stringing out of it, I need to bend the baffling back a bit to fix it. Easy repair but annoying seeing a tail of fiberglass packing flying out of the exhaust.
sold?
Yessir. Wrecked, as well.
I really really liked this bike. It’s a shame it had to end like this. Any news on the poor jobsite maintenance?
I’m not gonna waste my time with NYS, I did get some progress. They put up construction signs closer to the corner, and a “Loose Gravel” road sign at the corner.
Obviously, someone knew they were at fault and wanted to remedy it, and personally I could give two shits now that the bike is sold. I’m over it.
Dump some money into the bobber!
