doing some research before i do something stupid. if i buy a frame that does not come with a title, can you get another title for the frame? can i apply for a lost title if i get a bill of sale?
u can get a specially constructed title
for a special construction bike you will need bill of sale from frame builder motor company and trans company so a title can be made.
ok so i will need a bill of sale for each of those main items as i buy them, then i can get a title made? i think if i decide to do this project, its gonna be one of those not really in a hurry one piece at a time as cash allows or i find deals.
when i built mine my buddy made the title i just gave him recipts for everything down to nuts and bolts so there was no issues. i would call dmv and make sure what you need cause laws have changed on bike building since the boom of the chopper
