Motorcyclists... have you ever dropped your bike?

low sided mine in 07, grabbed to much brake in a corner, hit the curb and watched it slide up the road and I still haven’t gotten a new fairing. its not broken it just looks ugly, a few close calls since then.

shit, nm, my biek was dropped twice…

me and 3 friends were leaving sunset, when we decided to go jump off the train bridge…we parked our bikes in a stone lot, and when we came back, all 4 bikes were on the ground.

Just picture dominos. it sucked

i carry a 4x4 metal plate from an electrical box in the trunk and usally always put in under the kickstand when i park. seeing my bike on the ground because of soft ground would make me cry

Old pop can that I crushed. works for me

EDIT: that i crushed with my head

EDIT*: while saving a girl at the pool

thanks for reminding me… i did one last night btw… there was sand in the road so i purposely spun it up… (i still hate that feeling)

lol @ chris too.

at least it doesn’t rain out 330 days of the year…

i dropped my old r6 in my neighborhood when i first started riding. i was practicing figure 8s and went wayyyy to slow. I also looped a wheelie on it in an abandoned parking lot. Shit happens and you learn from it

I was on vacation and Dex actually told me that Brent (oasis27-7) had an accident, I was like wait he has my bike :feck:

 anthony, have you ever crashed?

A car clipped my rear fender, causing me to fishtail, and I put the bike down in the grass when I went off the road. Only going about 20 MPH at the time so walked away unharmed, only a couple minor scratches on the bike, and one majorly fucked rear plate/plate holder from the car hitting it. The road I was on curved, with a side road continuing straight. The people on the curve (me) have the right of way. A car coming the opposite direction went straight onto the side road at about 40 and I guess never saw me. If I was a second later I would have been road kill.

Funny story… the yard the bike went into was at the house my best friend bought 16 years later. First time I went to check out the house I was like, “Hey, I remember this place… I almost died here”.

nope… knock on wood
almost had a kickstand fall out but caught it in time!

Stoopid mistake…sitting on it in my driveway, leaned to far over and the bike went past the point of no return. Scratched the bottom part side of the engine below my left foot pegs. yea pretty PO’ed about it

Street bike No
Unless you consider my Super moto a street bike, then I crashed it everytime I was on it, but not on the road

lol, i wish people could EDIT their selections…

crashin is inevitable

Many years ago when I was the service manager at a speciality auto repair shop, one of the mechanics offered to clean my bike if I’d let him ride it. He had a license so I let him.
The ride went fine but after he washed/waxed it, he armor all’d the sidewalls… …Which he neglected to tell me.
I made it home o-k but a couple days later I drove it to work. Making a slow speed right hand turn from a redlight, the front wheel washed out & down I went.

The minor damage the fall caused was paid for by the kid.

That was the only drop I’ve had in over 20+ years of riding.
