I know the majority of people involved in motorsports with a 240SX are usually into drifting, but I’m just curious as to what other forms of motorsports the 240SX owners are into.
Doesn’t even need to involve a 240SX (if you race karts or something).
Personally, I am severely torn between open-wheel and closed-wheel at the moment… each have their pros and cons. I’ve participated in a few NAVEX Rallies (TSD, navigational, watever you want to call them) but nothing on a performance level (like Tall-Pines or Targa). I think I’m pretty well rounded as far as what motorsports I’m interested in.
Just post up what form of motorsport you participate in/are interested in.
Yeah,
Cops: “TAKE IT TO THE TRACK”
Us: “LOWER GAS PRICES!!”
Lol, take it to the track? For what? To spend gas money and still get the same tickets I would get racing on the street IN the city? (not impromptu stuff at a light, that kills, I’m talking ORGANIZED, and REMOTE).
Cops can give you every ticket they like, but whether it stands up in court is another story. If a cop is giving you something you KNOW is bullshit, just let him… its easier to fight it in court than in person with the cop.
But yeah, my new design slogan is “SLAP IN THE FACE LEGAL” … basically the car is modified with all of the laws/regulations in mind. Cops will want to hand you tickets, and you can just laugh knowing that your car was BUILT using the MTO handbook as a modification guide.
i bought my s14 after selling my vw golf gti for the simple reason that its a rwd car with amazing handling, but no drifting here im building the car to do solo1 next year but mainly to make a it a power and great handling super car.
motorsports wise ive raced karts for a club for 2 years now and come this spring im buying my own 2 stroke shifter kart, i dont care what anyone says but there is nothing better than the feeling of a shifter kart on the track, if you can race a kart in 1 cm rain puddles in the corners of the track drifting a car becomes way to easy
