Has anyone seen the 2009 film “Rampage”? It was on netflix a while ago, no spoilers, definitely worth a disturbing watch.
I’m guessing how it should have went down:
12:00 am stereo loud, neighbors come by, set off explosives.
12:01 all cops to apartment complex.
12:15 shoot up Batman, no quick response for cops.
12:20 reload and drive by front of building
12:30 go to another theater…
…too much speculation on what could of happened, again just watch “Rampage”.
Word. So long as politicians have term limits and we have the freedom to say they suck we’re in good shape, other than shame on us for electing morons who do shit like ban drugs creating huge organized drug gangs, then give the drug gangs a bunch of guns just to see where they go.
Dumb fucking article. How can anyone (we’ve gone over this before) say how they would have reacted. It sounds great to say “I would have tackled him and shot him” or whatever. But until you’re in a dark theater where a man walks in and starts going to town firing shots, how would you know? I don’t blame anyone for not doing something.
Surprised nobody has dropped a V For Vendetta quote yet…
Either way this country is quickly going to hell (not to sound overly dramatic) and there is no political or social intervention that can stop it. There is a less intelligent, less sophisticated, less socially considerate class that is growing at a much quicker rate than the educated sophisticated class and although thats not the issue in this case, it wont stop this country from slipping into a void I dont think we can pull ourselves out of.
But its not just the trash of america thats the problem as we see in this case. Jerry Sullivan (as much as I hate the prick) brought up such a good point but what is it about males between 14 - 30 in this country that makes us so much more fucking primal than anywhere else in the world? Why do we fight in bars, why is being in a gang a glamorous lifestyle to some, why are mass attacks like this done here and nowhere else in the world (outside of a very few isolated incidents). Look at international homicide rates… the best countries are all first world countries, what makes us different??? It all comes down to a social difference that weve instilled into ourselves that isnt showing signs of changing and to be honest its quite sickening.
The problem isnt obviously isolated to violence either… its work ethic, its education, its everything. Were a dumb fucking country filled with a select few over achievers and an infrastructure that well try to milk the most out of, but it just cant last. I will not retire in this country and I think more of you than you know wont either.
So what about the people on the plane that went down in PA on 9/11?
They DIDN’T have weapons, they might have killed everyone on the plane but saved who knows how many people?
They did SOMETHING.
Not to mention the fucking smoke grenade that he threw into the theater before he started shooting. You might not have even been able to see the dude. And any shots fired from someone carrying might have done more harm to innocent people due to the visibility. Also, don’t forget that a lot of people didn’t even realize he’d entered the theatre. They thought the smoke and gun shots was part of the movie (although I question their intelligence at that point). So by the time you realize there is a crazy person trying to murder you, the bullets are already flying. Even if you could see the guy, he would shoot you dead the second you rush him.
It’s just a shitty situation. Nothing more and nothing less. People are crazy and they do crazy things that end tragically. Look to the past and the present and all over the world. It’s not just the USA and it’s not just the current generation. It’s everywhere in every time. Some people are bat shit crazy and it’s completely unrealistic to be 100% secure from them. So there is always the risk of being killed by a crazy person. Shit happens. If you don’t like it, go build a fortress and never leave.
I was listening in on that conversation. I think parents are mainly to blame honestly. They teach, or should teach kids right from wrong, consequences to actions, etc. Without that they never have that piece of understanding.
Different people, different scenario. If none of them did anything I wouldn’t have blamed them either.

Also a lot of these people were there with families, children, girlfriends and boyfriends. I’d assume some of them had the first instinct to protect them. This is what I’d ASSUME that I would do.
^ If you really think that attempted robbery at the internet cafe has anything tactically in common with what happened at the theater you probably should have your carry permit revoked.
Storming the gates and getting killed quickly will do nothing to save you or your loved ones. It’s a suicide mission. Help them take cover, sheild them with your body and take a bullet for them. That’s the only way to REALLY protect your loved ones in this case.
Comparing the 9/11 situation is totally different. They had 0 chance of survival, the entire plane was going down regardless of their actions. In this case, your chances of survival are around 90% (assuming there was about 100 people in the theatre) with a little bit of luck and a calm head.
I say throw him in their and let him get killed, jokes on him. Harharhar… I was saying this because someone said that they hope he’s getting raped or some shit in jail lol
Sweet, taxpayer funded!
Holmes was receiving $2100 a month in taxpayer-funded grants. Since taxpayers were picking up the tab for his weapons and gear, that means the left will argue to ban taxes now, right?
