I know I haven’t been on for a long time but just thought I should let you guys and ladies know that it is totaled.
I was on a two lane highway and I started in the right lane. I was coming up to an area where there was a on-ramp coming up on the right hand side. I switched to the left lane and just as I did, the Tahoe that was in front of me on the right lane tried to also come into the left lane. We made contact and it sent both of us into a concrete barrier. My car is totaled. Most damage is on the front driver side. The rest of the car was pretty much fine. I took pictures with a disposable camera and will get them up as soon as I get a chance to get them developed. The Tahoe actually rolled but there were no serious injuries. Everyone who has saw the car does not know how me or my buddy that was in the car lived or at least walked away from it. At least people are safe.
I guess this means I am out of the F-body world at least for a long time. I am putting all my parts left in the basement up for sale. I have my Weld’s Draglight XP’s that will be gone soon. The tires have no tread really but the rims are in excellent shape except might need some cleaning. I do not even know what they would be worth but they need to go.
The next sports car I own will be a RACE CAR ONLY vehicle. Thinking about getting a rail-car next year.
dude, thats terrible to hear. i’m glad u r ok sounds lke a crazy wreck if the Tahoe rolled! damn. ur TA was badass, but it can be replaced. glad u arent hurt.
Thanks guys. I am still pissed about losing the car but like you said, everyone is still alive. I didn’t even get a chance to race it this year with some tuning done and actually this weekend coming up, I was supposed to send the car back down to MD to get the stock rear and gears replaced with a Strange 12 bolt and 3.73’s. Oh well, guess I might get another in a few years. Just looking for a pickup now so I can use it for hunting and camping this year and to tow a car when the time comes again
