MT Fluid Recs

Hey guys,

I’m about to change out my MT fluid again, I currently have been using Redline’s MT-90 with great results. I was wondering what everyone else is using in that weight, I wouldn’t mind trying some other brands too.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

EDIT: I did try running a search, but couldn’t find anything with polls or opinions.

Well I can only give you domestic advice … and that would be GM syncromesh …

Thanks!

I’m pretty sure mt 90 is a 75-90 gl4 oil so anything comparable would be ok I think. I personally run Amsoil mtg in my evo which is the same viscosity and gl rating. Just search around. I know swerve motorsports stocks redline and amsoil fluids so check them out.

I would not recommend going with any thing lighter than what you got in it. My bmw has redline shockproof in it from the previous owner and it rattles once it worms up. I will be soon replacing it with some heaver dino oil.

This has been my fav mt lube in Hondas for quite some time now… Synchromesh friction modified
