Anyone here ever gone through on a multi-level marketing thing

you know, you sign up, pay $40 and then buy a product, use it, spread the word, people sign up and use you as the referrer and you get a cheque everymonth?

normally i would pass it up as BS, and i did when someone i know pitched me on one… i was all… uh-huh why are you even bothering telling me this shit.

but then on my honeymoon, at the airport in Paris i saw a woman with some articles with the logo of the MLM company on it and i asked her what the shit it was…

she was all about it and didnt try to sell me anything.

i am not going to mention what it is exactly, but i am just going to do it because it was real strange to get pitched like a couple days before i left then to see it in Paris of all places.

i figure its fate…

anyone been in one or have direct family members do it?

i dont wanna here stories about friends of uncle’s boyfriend’s and shit… just stuff that actually happened to you.

My mom tried it, lost 40 bucks. Then again, she was too lazy to actually do the stuff. Most people get lazy and lose their money.

Haha birdhou, you’re just like me. The 53 is actually SE, it’s birdhouse, and I never got it until I heard someone say it. But that’s not to say that he’s the Mark he’s talking about, I have no clue which one it is.

A friend at work is doing this with a wireless phone thing…he tried to get me to sign up…i could still use my rogers phone but with his plans…apparently its working for him…and he got the idea from the states and is the 1st guy to offer this what ever phone thing in canada…between his customers, talking is free, awesome long distance rates and for every costomer he gets he saves 15 cents off his monthly bill :? i didnt really pay attention.
