You mentioned the I6, that what I was talking about. I would never tow anything with a 6 if I didn’t have to, but I used it to move my boat around when my fiance had the dodge a couple times, and it was pretty pathetic. And GM must not agree with you, because the thing came with a towing package…biggest waste of $2000 or whatever the hell they overcharge for useless addons. Not saying your wrong, I just think that the 4200 I6 is crap. I mean, it might be good for gas mileage purposes, but they should stick to putting it in cars and not SUVs, it struggles to even pull the truck up a hill, with nothing on the back of it. Maybe its just cause im used the the V8.

Edit, i meant I6 in that last line of my previous post. actually I will safely say…any 6 for that matter.

i’m not saying this as a jackass…but research the inline six…it won’t even fit into a blazer…there is no way in sam hell that it would fit in a car…it’s one of the deepest motors GM has made. And i’m sure the smart people would have went with the v8 package when it was available on the Trailblazer(don’t know about the envoy…personally i think chevy makes the better looking out of the two)
