My 1965 Nova II- 8.85@153.5 - Turbo kit FS

Haven’t seen this thing in a minute.

I think ima get after it on Sat?

This is awesome Drew  Your welds look really good, especially for just picking up tig! What do you think about the Diversion 180? I’ve been really considering picking up the same welder, once funds allow me to do so. It seems to be the “go-to” unit for beginners.

I am very happy with the Diversion 180 for a starter unit. Miller runs sales on them from time to time and you can get a new one for what people ask on the used ones.

Lemme know. I know you could use my expertise :stuck_out_tongue:

:fu:

My tentative plan is to hit it hard Saturday like a solid 8hrs. Ideally id get most of the turbo kit finished up. Then I can start working on interior, wiring, fuel, and brakes. No big deal. fml

Fuuuuuuu! I did my 8hrs on my day off a couple weeks ago lol.

:fu:

Word! Thanks for your input. When the time comes, I’ll more than likely be picking one up. Back to your build, keep up the good work! Maybe one day I can come check it out or lend a hand.

Didn’t even touch it today. :frowning:

Maybe tomorrow.

WTF…where are the burnouts???

I could do some in the maro!

yes plz

I will get on that ASAP. I think tomorrow I might actually work on the Nova. Maybe.

Fggt.

Progress was made. Beers were had.

Trans mount finished and installed. This took a good amount of time but it fits like factory and im very happy with it.

Spent a lot of time “making room” between the firewall, rear spark plug, frame rail, and starter. Its ALMOST ready and I made some rough cuts on the next section of downpipe. Somehow I almost nailed it! Some more grinding and then final cuts and we should have exhaust exiting the engine bay haha.

saw the trans crossmember in person

Burnouts for Christmas!
