Also i love watching your build threads… I liked the RX7 better but this is still Awesome just more of a mullet way.
This is way more boss then the rx7 was. Atleast build quality wise imo. But that build was pretty sweet and I was happy with how it turned out. I get that not many here are into muscle cars but that is fine. Maybe I will do a newer car next. I already have ideas for something :snky:
No I agree this build is way more intense and fun to watch. and building a nova is pretty BA.

Anyhow I get what you mean though. We all dig different things but I too appreciate cool stuff no matter the platform. I have even been admiring some gasp Ford stuff lately.
I think this is the most communal build thread so far. Everyone has helped Drew along the way and drank beers!

Also… First AN fitting of the build assembled!!! Man these are still a pain in the ass. Actually it went better then I remembered.

Well I finally threw in the towel on the gas tank. Live and learn on these builds and while it is frustrating at times I suppose that is how we all learn sometimes. I had the tank professionally cleaned so I could cut the ends off. It went perfect and I made a new cap. At this point I hung it in place. Fit great! So I started playing with how I was going to hang the muffler and with the tank there I just hated it. So at the end of the day I could have made both work im sure but I decided to just go to a 15gal fuel cell and hang th exhaust the way I wanted it.
So after a few hard days I like to do some “easy” work to get the mojo going so last night I worked on building some AN lines. Fun stuff!
Big thanks to Spam16v for letting me borrow your AN fitting tools. I can not believe how much better they make the job.
Bummer you ended up going with a fuel cell - mostly because you were so against it from the start and put the time and money into the stock tank setup.
Golf clubs will just have to go in the back seat now is all.
It would work fine as it sits but would have made running exhaust out the back difficult.
