You could always try this. This is what some of the evo guys do since with a tubular manifold the radiator hose is like sitting on it lol. I think you said it was near/touching something hot.
But then you have to buy the couplers.
If it’s still leaking even with a good clamp do you think it may be cracked ? Usually even if you ghetto it on with a horribly fitting hose it doesn’t leak
Could have just ordered a new clamp by now !!
I ordered a new clamp right when it happened but it is coming from CA and will be here Monday.
As far as the hard line coolant the issue is that the hot side would still be touching at the coupler. That happens to be where it is closest.
Weld everything ! lol

Weld an elbow to the radiator inlet, clamp on further away from the turbine, win?
And use a wiggins clamp. Just b/c they are fucking awesome.

I can weld an elbow on. I would prefer to wait till the winter im kind of over this years “build” and just want to drive it for a bit. I guess we will see.

Actually I had a really bad Saturday with this thing. To the point that I didn’t even work on it after a few issue popped up. I will be out of town for work so I wont even touch it again till a week from today.
Can’t get the coolant to stop leaking. At this point im just going to pull it out and redesign it I guess. Also looks like my brand new Griffin rad has a small leak at one of the tanks.
Brand new fuel cell also leaking slightly
Electrical problems - Must have a short on the wires to the trans cooler fan. Pops the 30A fuse as soon as I turn it on.
Brake lights, turn signals, etc not working.
Installed the rear wheels to find that that draglites hit the caliper/caliper bracket. Need to pull the wheels and fix it
These are just some issues off the top of my head. Not a great weekend.

Thanks guys. Its so close and I just want to cruise! 1-2 solid days where things go smooth and we will be killing tires.
I ordered up some parts and am probably pulling out the water pump and rad and trying to make it a -16AN setup. No more dicking around with clamps then. Not sure if I have the room yet.
The rest of the issues seem somewhat straight forward?
