From what I’ve been told it won’t make that much of a difference and will make staging more accurate.
I’m poor. lol Eventually I want a cowel hood but I don’t have the $700+ to do that at the moment. lol

Wow, nice work man. Might have missed it but what fuel?
Alcohol.
Nice Big Block duuuude
I want that motor in my '75 Laguna. It’s craving a big block.
Run a CSR scattershield. That’s what I just put on my car with a bigblock & TH400 as well. They fit the stock tunnel. I didn’t have to even break out the hammer once. Just grind some tabs off the trans case (useless factory shit) and your good to go.
Damn that would have worked out mint. That and a blanket and I would have been set. But I already have the shields. Plus I figure if I make it removable, access to the tranny bolts will be much easier from inside the car.
well if you already got the shit then go with that. I can already tell with the CSR that removing the trans while leaving the motor in the car is going to be nearly impossible. so its guna be all out all in kinda deal if the trans has to get pulled for something. I didn’t want to modify anything on my car so I went with that. Some guys put holes on the floor/firewall area with covers to access the trans bolts when they run this shield but I didn’t do that myself. A removable tunnel would be the bees knees.
Because of my mid plate each have to come out separately, so it looks like making a new tunnel is about my only option. lol Hacking away today…updates to come.
ahh do what ya gotta do then and post pix!
Always liked these cars a lot awesome build big step up from what it was to what it is now nice work man
Little more trimming to get the flex plate shield in then it’s time to start fabricating a tunnel.
Finally got around to lowering my idle…lol

 your motivating me to get my ass back in the garage and finish up some last odds and ends with my car. How do you like the SV-1 so far?
From what I’ve seen of it so far it is badass and spot on. Time will tell once we get to the track, but from the way she’s running I don’t think there will be any disappointments from the engine.
Going to get the tunnel built this weekend. Got my tail lights wired up today, and tucked the wires that were on the wheel well. Still some more tucking to do but I’ll save that for over the winter…
Almost ready for a shakedown…
Installed my scatter shield from the comfort of my drivers seat. What a glorious thing. lol Now to get a new removable tunnel built this weekend and we’re good to go.
Looking good dude!
Gonna have ur hands full getting that torque monster to hook! What suspension mods have u done?
None. lol Stock suspension locations, Moroso 3 way shocks. Stock springs it looks. Boxed in control arms. Ford 9", spool, 4:11’s…I think I’m just gunna blow the tires off. lol
