Off the top of my head I have,
Charcoal leather seats VGC
Sunroof cloth cover
Door panel

well the lid who gad mine first put that stick on c/f shit everywere so i need all trim peices. u need a black shifter boot, door panels i think thats about it. do those seats have inserts in them or just leather

Just updating, car gets driven to the body shop for paint on thursday. I will be taking before and after photos, i’ll throw a ton of before pictures on here for those of you who care and are some what following this lol, and as soon as the paint and body work are done i’ll be posting after pictures. i’m hoping it comes out good!!!

ayy another 3/s owner in the area! lol my advice is to only use 3si for technical questions and research purposes, they’re a bunch of dickheads haha not a nice community. i didn’t read the whole thread, but if you’re look for more power, i’d definitely go with the other suggestions and to a TT fwd swap, it shouldn’t be too complicated if you get a crate motor or even a clip if you have the cash. these are not simple cars at all, good luck! haha i’ve got a 93 vr4 i restored with my father when i was 15/16. i’m sure we can help ya out if you’ve got any questions!

Hey thanks alot!!! yeah i noticed they weren’t too friendly. But yes! I love these cars so much, i’m glad to see another 3/s owner as well. Today was day one of the painting process, i’m about to upload pics now. as for the TT FWD Swap, i’m really thinking about doing that this summer!! Thank you offering advice, I may need it in the future!




still alot to do, but its a start! I still have to finish sanding the car down but it’s coming along. all that stuff you see is bondo, i was real picky about fixing all the little tiny dings, and it had a couple of good sized dents in her. Going back to the shop tomorrow, to do some more. will upload pictures when i get home!

The tail lights were a pain to get out, so we just taped them up. the holes from the old spoiler are getting filled correctly and the new spoiler was sanded down and ready for blue paint too! I’m having alot of fun with this project and I think the car is going to come out great! Can’t wait till it’s finished

I have gone through 3 of these cars. One SL and two VR4’s. The best advice I can give is making sure you mod it the right way combined with good maintenance care. I have seen a lot of people put together ebay cars and have nothing but problems, which is the most common complaint. I installed only quality parts and maintained them, and never had any issues. Of course working on them is a bitch, my first VR4 I did a turbo swap without pulling the motor. THAT was a learning experience haha.

and be sure to check out 3sx, they’re down in north carolina. my uncle lives near them so i got a sweet tour of the shop, but they have absolutely everything you could need for your sl. and yeah hit me up if you need any help!
