My '89 240sx KA24det powered

Alright, so my car is an '89 240sx and I’ve just recently swapped in a stock 91 ka24de. I’m also in the process of re-painting it right now. I’m still working out a few bugs, and I need to get an alignment and dyno tune, but it runs(for now ) and should be completed by spring '08. I think the pics and mod list speak for themselves, and I’m probably forgetting a few things, but I’ll shut up now.
Comments, feedback and critisism welcome, as long as this doesn’t turn into another sr vs ca vs ka thread. Oh, and I don’t need to hear about how shitty the AR wheels are, I will get better wheels when i have the cash :E I’m open to wheel suggestions! Thanks for lookin

Awsome man… Just in time for winter :E lol

nice that turbo should be really responsive thats a good looking setup!

Nice set-up bug holy rust batman in the second last pic

Thanks for the comments guys

Looks alot worse in that pic for some reason than it really was. It was just surface rust and sanded out no problem.

your going to need a heat shield dude. that brake fluid is going to just cook

My thoughts exactly.

Haha, I have one but I’m going to wrap up the downpipe before I put the shield on. Clearance between the DP flange and brake lines is a cunt hair at best

It’s still a work in progress and I have a few things to do yet before its good to go.

That looks tight, man. Good work. :partyman:

Looks good dude, time for a built engine, 20 psi and 400 hp!!!

Thanks Flavman

I can’t decide whether to build the motor next, or upgrade the wheels/tires/brakes :?
It’s tough since I haven’t driven it in its current state yet.

I dont think that will be up to you to decide. Motor first :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks good tho. You should get a fan shroud from Rob and a electric fan

Thanks Flavman

you will see, it will pop, if you do decide to build an engine jsut buy an ams long block!

x2!!

It’ll save you a bunch of headaches and foul language. . .

Of course it’s just a matter of time before it blows  The ams route seems to be the easiest and most cost effective.
