ok so my check engine light was on for a while. then i installed some subs and had to disconnect the battery terminal. it then of course went off. so today i went to autozone to have them check it and they hooked up their tool and nothing happened to either of the 2 they tried. what could be the problem that the computer wouldnt even power up to tell me why the light was on? is it a wiring problem?
if someone knows the problem could they please inform me of what it is and how to solve it and how difficult it is.
also i was told from the original owner that it was some sort of fuel sensor. would this be why im having terrible fuel mileage right now?
heres some advice, if the lights off then dont worry about it. obd2 has a learning program and through so many miles of driving it could have fixed it self. plus hondas have fixed them selfs sense the start of a honda. all honda drivers know that
ok so the sensor could have fixed its self? im honestly not sure if its guzzling gas right now or not, i got it 9 days ago and it was at 3/4’s tank then i brought it home with a little more than half tank. then a few days later i put in 10 dollars, then 3 dollars a few days later to keep it at half tank from the 1/4 tank it was at before the 10 dollars. then last night i added 10 more dollars and its again a little above the half tank mark and ive put 210 miles on it since i brought it home. is that bad or about normal?
