well as far as making money off the scene goes…theres all sorts of forums and clubs that have premium payed memberships, lots of car clubs have dues that are payed yearly or monthly pending how the president of the club decides to run it and that includes many forums as well because most clubs have forums associated with them and they collect the dues thru paypal or whatever…
me personaly ill never pay to be in a club for a car… its gay… i already pay for internet i dont need to pay for other shit… thats like paying a membership fee for a credit card when you can get one for free… its fucking stupid.

If that’s what you’re looking for in a website, have fun. It shows a lack of respect for each other and it shows NONE of you are in it for the scene, only for yourselves… which is ironic, because that’s exactly what you all accused mike of.

That was exactly what it was, I’m just wanted to clear up the information about being “pissy”. Me and JVG were both customers of Mike’s who have spend about $2000 into his business, who’s non for profit meet at JVG was looked down upon.
For the record you’re free to bash this website, it will just give me motivation to improve and if bashing is focused enough, I’ll know what to improve on as well.

Surprise… the 1500 emails I get from RSpeed a week didn’t give me enough of a hint I’m supposed to go there and become a premium member. On Shift, I’ve never been pressured for any sort of donation. The majority of us enjoy hanging out and joking around. There IS a lot of joking around on Shift, but it’s all in good fun. There is a ton of great content on here and great people to share it with. Vlad knows what he is doing. He is not somebody who’s out to take your money. I’ve said it before, and this seems like a fitting drama location to say it again.
I don’t believe in charging members, I’m a registered in many forums and have never been willing to pay for any of them, so I don’t expect it in return.
If I can break even running the website I’d be a happy camper.
I do however believe into offering as many services and options to registered members as possible, and if they like it and want to take advantage of it, then fantastic, I’ve done something right :lol
The web advertising and sponsors can take care of the rest.
I’ve been a member of a few websites where management has made some decisions that affected the rest of the member base negatively and it has never ended up well for the website. Now me being a semi-smart human being I’ll learn from the mistakes of others. As you guys can tell, I tend to ask the people who the changes will affect most - the members, to see if they will like the idea.
I’ve been in a country where speaking your mind is looked down on, and speaking anything negative about the government (management) is punishable. Didn’t like how that went and moved to a country where there is a little thing called free speech. Works out pretty well so far. As Nazi’s and Communists successfully demonstrated trying to shut up negative comments will only create more negative comments and opposition. Imagine if it was illegal to make fun of Bush, Comedy Central would go out of business.
Unfortunately my financial situation currently isn’t allowing me to do everything I wanted to do in the time line expected, so some things are taking a little bit longer then expected, and my sincere apologies to everybody for that. its not about what there promoting it’s who is promoting it…free or not if your promoting something in some way shape or form…if your a vendor then you have every right to post anything you want just pay the vendor fee.
Since no one seems to really know what exactly the issue with Rspeed is lets take a moment to figure that out.
Multiple people from RSpeed have come on here saying that you DONT need to pay for a membership to post, and many from shift have said that you indeed do need one. Which one is it?
Also what was the original post Cossey made? To the exact word, if possible. People from RSpeed keep saying it was an immature post yet no one else has seemed to have an issue with it
