You down wed for Empire? I just texted Chuck to see when we can set something up to finalize my tune. Im more then happy with it obv the car is trapping great. But with the voltage issue fixed(hope so) might as well try to squeeze some more. I need to move my limiter a lil too so I dont come through the traps on it lol.

drew, if you wanna be able to drive your car home when your done racing id avoid those drag radials. We all know how much IRS cars love DR’s.lol Stick with the slicks, your rear end will thank you later. DR’s for the street all day long though.

So I was sick of taking pics with my busted camera and some of these still are from it. But my gf gave me her spare and now I can get half decent pics again. You will see the nicer of these pics are from the new camera. Anyhow here are a few pics of whats going on.
Things that were happening:
Entire interior out including dash
Patch holes in firewall and shifter area
Install 24sqft of dynaliner(lightweight sound deadening and thermal barrier)
Delete ABS(no comments or opinions please)
Relocate small battery under the hood where abs was
Make new power and ground cables as well as add a second engine ground(Hopefully eliminating a WOT voltage issue)
Make a rear section out of hardboard and make the car a full interior car 
Custom mount a set of Rockford Fosgate 6x8 speakers in the sail panels making it a 4 speaker system.
And here is where we have gotten
All holes have been patched. This is just a few of them and give an example of how big they were. Thats a lot of heat!

ABS gone and new battery mounted in place with new cables
A few new lines and I moved the prop valve to the drivers side. Eliminated a ton of lines.
Engine bay shot, starting to look nice. This winter I will be sure to paint it I swear!
Starting to put it all back together
My carpet didn’t fit well so I made a 38"x4" patch I glued in. Now it will fold over and give a clean even seam.
Hardboard I will be using to make a full template of the rear hatch area and then insulate and carpet. I want to be able to pull it out easily to put tools and such in the spare tire well.
Can’t forget my rice addition of the week, PS im changing the red all to gold and black.
More updates soon, I am really excited to see how much it improves the car when I finish it up.
So I take it the cabin has been heating up pretty badly and you were tired of sweating? Also assuming there is no A/C in the car?
Yes with the open holes in a few spots it was getting quite hot in there. That and the dynaliner should help from exhaust noise(although its not too loud really). I do not have ac however I kept everything needed to add it if I desire down the road.
gotcha
it’s gonna be a lot more comfortable with heat and some road noise out. Those holes probably let in a TON of noise as well.
Yeah between the heat reduction, noise reduction and adding two more speakers I am stoked to drive it again. The spare tire well sounded like a bass drum when I tapped it. So much louder then anywhere else in the car. When I make the rear area out of hardboard I am going to put another full layer of dynaliner on it before I carpet it. Again the car wasn’t TOO loud but if I could make it a bunch quieter that would be awesome.

Speakers, sound deadening, carpet, and hardboard total are under 10lbs. ( I used race specific carpet and sound deadening).
Removing ABS, bringing battery upfront and lightweight lugs dropped about 30lbs!
So 2 steps forward and one step back and my car will be SOOOOO much nicer to drive around. Id guess I still dropped minimally 15lbs.
