In person it does is clearly not a rattle can job. I do not feel like dealing with a gloss bay and also I wanted something to tone it down since all my hot pipes are being coated that near chrome silver color and I have all the gold powder. So basically to look at itself gloss looks great. However for durability reasons and entire vision reasons I find this the correct decision.
Cliffs- IMO
Polished/silver hot side/downpipe+Gold powdercoated parts everywhere+gloss bay=ewwwwwie
Also left the car taped up and am considering going out and grabbing some satin. The stuff I laid down is paintable, sound and heat isolating and durable so i wanted it as a base anyhow.
Thanks guys, I didn’t take any pics yesterday but preliminary fitment of my 8-point looks great. Better then I expected from a “kit” to be honest. Had some logistical issues yesterday which was just poor planning on my part. Went to assemble and install the motor and realized I never had a return fitting installed to the oil pan…and I had no clutch alignment tool…and I had to tap my water pump for a temp sensor. So after running around I found a tool at auto-zone. Then I call the infamous John Donovn(turbociv) and he is willing to help me out right then so I take off my oil pan and water pump and headed over. That is all wrapped up and is where I left off last night.
