I drove around too never got stuck but any slope i tried to go up i was spinning pretty good and not moving that fast. My tires are not the best so i guess that has a lot to do with it. Even when it was time to slow down/stop my abs came on and it took a little while. I would say tires have a lot to do with it. Like I said before the sunfire kicked ass in the snow brand new tires and were only 185’s or 195’s, add in haveing one of the weakest motors ever made and it kicks ass in the snow.
yins other gtp owners must not know how to drive!! my car went were ever with bald blizzaks, now i got some off brand snow tires go better in the snow than my monte ss w/o a poweradder!! now i must say i do niss my awd impreza!! gtp’s do good 360’s in the snow too and supercharged wip donuts!! i think a gtp is a good daily driver just my 2 cents
When you BARELY touch the brakes and you start to slide, it’s not driving ability.
no sliding on good tires go get some and u will love it!!
My GTP goes great in then snow with nsnow tires on the front n goodyear rsa,s on the back!!! Even with the 245/50/16,s on there too,u do know that your not supposed to use the traction control in the snow don,t you?
Same for me!!
I get around fine, but when compared to other cars I have driven, my GTP is far from the best. Yes I do take off traction control…traction control is a huge waste in any conditions. (well at least the GTP’s system)
The GTP,S do have a light rearend so u do have to know how to control it,but it,s all common sense…ass end sl;ides out, hitr gas and steer…no poroblam!!!
right get yo self 2 fosgate 12’ woofers in a sub box and and amp and balance the back out yo!!!
I got a a dead body in back so i,m good john,thanks though…
My wheels/tires made it to UPS in New Stanton yesterday evening. Damn that no Saturday delivery!!
