no shit and he likes to roll race?
His tires are shot…
Fixed poll.
You’re not selling it or I’ll castrate you.
But dude seriously, I’d look into some more safety stuff, like a roll bar or something, and oh, idk, maybe tires that arent slicks with little chunks of molten rubber as tread?
Srsly.
Swift theres no way you can let some big block clown on white rice…had to show him whats up :runaway
no ones better for that car that car than u . most people with real fast cars a snobs or assholes and your not . i can see you selling it to some Rich kid and he would be a dick like he built it. why do u want to sell it ?
just want a s2k…
keep the car :nod
Not to be the killjoy, but if you get too many tickets, or worse, into an accident, what about your future career aspirations? If it’s just too tempting to resist and will get you into trouble, is it worth all of that? Granted, it won’t be something you can blame on the car, but having it would surely be a contributor…
I mean, I can’t even imagine, but in your car highway speed to jail time is probably like 1-1.5 seconds into throttle, maybe less… I guess it boils down to what you want to live for, the here and now or the future.
Again, I’m saying all this, but if I rode in a 500 whp anything, I’d probably be screaming “keep it keep it” as I crap in the interior… :lol
haha, thats exactly the issue. besides the constant money i waste on it, which i’m trying not to do.
A fantastic point, my mistake on the motorcycle will end up being a $10,000 “casual” accident that will come out of my pocket. ($9200 thanks to Adam :thumb :lol ) I’ll also be very lucky to keep my license.
Then again Swifty is thinking of picking up a very fast bike as his first bike (faster then the car and much more dangerous) and an S2000 both of which will not cause him to slow down by any means.
Don’t forget all the money you have spend on the car will never be lost if you keep the car and keep using it. The only time you “lose” the money you put into it is the day you sign over the title or just stop using it completely. Every day you drive it and enjoy lets the money you put into it work for you by putting a smile to your face.
yeah but what about all the money i’ll keep dumping into it due to repairs, track goals, and peer pressure. :lol
Part of having it as your hobby.
Some people spend big money playing paintball, golf, skydiving, rockclimbing, collecting items, shooting guns at range, hunting, boating etc. Point is everybody has a hobby and hobby’s take money. Some are much more expensive then others (Auto is in the middle, there are many many much more expensive ones out there). As long as you’re happy with your hobby and it puts a smile to your face it’s worth it.
If you get out of modifying cars you will get into something else that interests you like tanning :tong
Or in your case spending time in the hospital. :tong
I’m catchin what you’re throwin though. I just think that it would be less deadly, and better for my bank account to just drive a almost stock S2000. I’ve spent 5K + a year on a civic that i can’t get even 1/3 back. If i bought an S2000 i’d owe say 10grand on it. And if i ever sell it i’ll owe nothing again. Plus only maintenance would be oil/plugs and tires. Not transmissions, clutches, rebuilds, new turbos, 10mpg… or atleast not nearly as often.
dont fall into peer pressure, fix wat needs to be fixed and drive it a lil more lil its a normal car and not 500 whp civic and youll stay out of trouble… or you can buyan s2k… either way you’ll be spending more money next yr! :giggedy
no way! s2k = staying stock
swift you cant even leave the beater stock who are you kidding
Oh burn.
I highly doubt it, especially coming from the Civic.
Speed is entirely relative, as well all know an average person driving in a 14 second car will think it’s fast, but for most gear-heads having experienced and gotten used to much faster speeds anything slower then 13.9 seconds isn’t fast or really impressive.
For you being used to 11 second car, you will not be happy with a stock S2k.
To put things into perspective, riders who own 10 second 600’s get used to that speed and start considering them “slow” just to move up to 9 second 1000’s.
id hate to see some asswipe buy your car but if you feel you need to move on go for it, i voted yes purely on the convos me and u have had
im with red on this one… unless of course your heart just isnt into it anymore then it should go to a good home… but you will still regret it to some extent. as much as id love to chuck mine and buy a new one and start dumping money into it i would regret doing it… and cant bring myself to do it…
