My father picked up an abandoned runt of the litter from the backyard of the shop he works at in mid October. It was just left by its family and I didn’t want it at all, as I’ve wanted a dog forever. I pretty much ignored it, didn’t take care of it… at first. Then it started following me around and now thats all it does. It grew on me and I can understand why its going to be hard if you have to put it down. Sorry to hear man. Its nice to know the roids may do the trick, but is it in the cats best interest if its sufferring?
so after running some more tests it turns out it isnt FIP, but instead there is blood in the fluid… so its a tumor. i was excited for a sec, then they said there was nothing they could do for that either because of how bad his condition had become. so this afternoon i had to put my cat to sleep.
talk about the gheyest thing i have ever had to do.

that sucks. sounds like the same thing that happend to my cat a few years ago. he had a bunch of fluid collecting around his heart making it hard for him to breathe. they then found a blood clot in one of his main arteries that they said would probably break free and get jammed in his back paralyzing him. rather than see him go through the pain of that or any more pain we had to put him to sleep
