If you could make that arrangement of parts work, then yeah, that would be cool. I was thinking that if you wanted, say, a 90 mm throttle body, there’s a whole bunch of companies that make a “90 mm TB”. Just figure out if the TPS for that application is correct for voltage and “high open” or “low open” and splice up a connector from it to your wiring harness then tune for the new opening size and tps range. But you’d have to get someone to make an adapter for their bolt pattern to your bolt pattern, so you may as well incorporate a “spacer” design to that (this would likely be custom lathe/fab work).

yeah i know nissan has the q45 tb which is 90mm and greddy makes an sr20 manifold that uses the same bolt patteren for the throttle body swap…the only problem with k-series engines is there is no after market intake manifolds and its gay as all hell but yeah… i think going N/A 90mm would be a bit over kill i think somewhere between 65-70mm would be good thats why i want to bore mine out (i can max mine out at 65mm) there is this site www.maxbore.com but i have to send my throtle body in and i dont have any other car i can drive so i would be waiting for him to bore it out and send it back and that would be like a week prolly and i cant just not drive that long

90mm was just “for example”. Get a boneyard TB to send for a boring, then you have the stocker and the new one?

yeah i thought of that but there isnt one close and on top of that they want like 200+ for one…and at the end of it i could just buy a spoon throttle body and call it a day…i just cant win lol…there is a shop im going to try when im back from florida its back in my home town of akron and im gona see if they can do anyhting for me if not im going to kill a hooker…not that that will help me anyway but it will be a nice way tovent my frustrations lol

got my intake manifold in i just need my plentum spacer in and ill be ready to put the head on

Came back to crafton this weekend to find my new exhaust waiting for me take a peep full engine back

Its going good. Do you have any pics of the car its self? I think I might be going headfirst into a honda project. Sick of the high prices of my mazda. LS turbo sounds good to me right now…

i have a turbo manifold now so if i do decide to boost it all i need is a down pipe
