Get him neutered. My dog went from spastic chaos to calm.
def. try the training/neutering first but if that doesn’t work there are groups of people that take in dogs like foster care. I dont know anyone who does pit bulls but I am sure there is someone.
Wow that dog has huge balls.
This thread makes me sad
it’s never too late to have a dog neutered. good luck finding him a home, he’s a good looking dog
Tell your child to toughen up
wish it was that easy…
I’ll pay for a full vet checkup for anyone that will take him, just so you know you don’t have any costs coming up.
I’m going to go along with everyone else and say get him neutered and see how that works before getting rid of him.
And also, what actually happened with your child and the dog? Did he try and bite or something?
hmm.
Someone save this dog…
Would if I could.
this would be so hard for me to do I wish i had room for him.
smiling pit bull rescue. there’s a forum on there too. good luck.

Crown!
Sorry to hear Jim, I’ll look around for you…
thanks man, i will definitely check this out.
I may try to get him neutered, It’s all kind of up in the air right now. His demeanor changed so quickly that we just really weren’t prepared to make a decision on this. I might have bought myself some more time and my parents will take him for a bit while I try to find him a home, so that gives me some breathing room.
The incident(s), were friday night my son came crawling at him and he growled and jumped on him. saturday night my son was playing with my wife on the floor, not interacting with the dog in any way and my dog walked by, barked and snapped at him. Which was at which point I knew this is not a safe situation anymore.
It is so shitty because even with toddler age kids, adults etc. he is completely normal, licks/playful, it’s just the baby.
He probably doesn’t understand what the baby is man… I hope you can figure something out, other than getting rid of him. Maybe you need to contain him in other rooms while the baby is on the floor.
+1 for chopping the balls off.
He has alot of pent up juices running through him and no release for them. That is why he snaps at something he knows cant snap back and leaves toddlers + alone.
Neutered and some training and you can have the best of both.
Just talked to my brother in law for you. we’ll see what he says. I’m sending him the pix.
really 2 pages without this?
I asked a few friends, no dice. I’ll keep looking tho, almost had my aunt to take him but shes worried about her tiny little dog becoming food.
snip the balls
