Its just in the drive way and its not stuck on or anything…i think i may have pulled to hard up on it? …replaceing the whole thing should fix this right? thank you
easy tiger, remove your console there is a micro switch at the base of the hand brake lever. never done it on a 240 but on most cars the switch gets grounded out with the lever up. so try to give the switch ground if the light goes out go buy your self a new switch if not trace that wire its broken somwhere.
check your brake fluid level.
The light acts as a warnung for low fluid in the system.
^ you are correct sure ding ding ding
ah touche !!! seen that prob as well
Ya I thought my brakes were not working right once…then realised I was low on fluid lol.
Hes right
I had the same problem recently until i added some brake fluid
if you are “low” on brake fluid DO NOT fill it…your pads are low causing the fluid to drop.
Cange your pads and watch the fluid level rise.
If indeed your fluid is low and there is still plenty of meat left on the pads, then you have bigger problems. (leak)
