ill update the thread again once i start to tear into taking this damn transmission out again :banghead:

im going to try to take out as much weight as i can, only thing i plan on doing as far as weight reduction is to yank all of the sound deadening throughout the interior.

 cant wait to race it

:ohnoes:

Skip over the 10 sec run go straight to the 9s

haha i would need a jet engine to do that

nice…
GL with new setup bud.

Just have jonforcemorales drive it.

As usual you’re way ahead of the game for next year. Good work!

looking good…maby you should pace ur self winter is just getting started:)

i have a long way to go, i have to still pull the entire interior, tranny, x-case, replace clutch, send tranny out to get built, put tranny back in :frowning:

ok ur good then:)

Good time to start and be able to take your time to do it right the first time

What are your goals for this setup paul?

would like to touch some 10.5’s on 100 octane. but we shall whats gonna break before i hit the track.

only thing that isnt going to be touched, left to break, is the stock bottom end

but since i wont have to worry about ripping apart the tranny next year, ill have a lot of dialing in to do on the suspension, as well as learning how to launch it on the new clutch setup

Have fun with that trans Paul.

Everything’s looking super good!

all of which will take maybe 4 hours to pull the tranny and about another 4 to put it back together(minus waiting for it to be shipped back) lol. There isn’t that much work there other than figuring out what he wants to take out of the interior.

Progress so far looks good. Why are you pulling the interior?

it took me like 30min to pull my interior lol, of course yours is much nicer and u dont wana mess it up, but it shouldnt take more than 1-2 hours tops

unless of course you are removing all the tar shit? if thats the case lemmie know because i need to order some dry ice to do mine

sorry i may have missed it but what coilovers did you go with?

35 pounds to go without ac?

Is this a track only car?
