i agree bill.

just a tid bit of a update, dan over at buschur finished rebuilding my tranny. once he cracked it open, 2-5 gear were completely done for. so i just had him replace everything in there to the specs that him and i both agreed on as to the power levels ill be making.

i cant wait to feel this butta smooth tranny, should be here on monday!

He drives it on 100 octane all the time. I tried to get him to go e85, seeing how it’s $5 less a gallon but he won’t.

Hey paul, not being one of the idiots that asks “how much did it cost” for anytime myself, or someone else buys a car, but I too will be building my trans this spring. Mind saying how much its costing to rebuild your trans? I am budgeting around 2 grand for trans and clutch, and I am hoping I can meet that goal.

trans was $1325 to get rebuilt, clutch was $1330

so $2655 for everything

there are no e85 pumps near me and im not driving all the way to your house to fill up

That is not bad at all… and they said your stock 03 TC will still hold up with that power?

nope lol, the power will eventually take its toll on it as well. luckily i dont really drag the car all that much, so we’ll see how long the TC likes me.

ill probably do the TC when i pull the motor next winter

I am pretty sure emery has the stock transfer case in his car, so you should be fine. Just keep up with OEM fluid changes in it!

well i got my tranny back on monday from buschur, threw it in today. the car is almost all back together, another few hours of work and it should be running again. so smoooooooth…

all i gotta say is, im sick of working on it this year… i just want it to be done
