my f*cking head is pounding

ok, i almost never get headaches. even when im hungover, i barely get them. i had a rather intense weekend, and my head has been fucking pounding all goddamn day. it honestly feels like someone punched me in my left eye

im going to take a shower, and try to go to bed. if i cant fall asleep, im going to drink some nyquil. if that doesnt work any suggestions other than start drinking again?

thanks

How old are you and have you been drinking?

25, and no, not tonight. but i did drink way too much this past weekend. way too much for me would prob kill a normal person

also, i forgot to mention i dont like to take pills so thats out of the question. just got out of the shower and i feel a bit better, hopefully i wont post in this thread again tonight

Hmmm, sound like a tension headache to me, or dehydration. Have a drink and go to sleep.

I’m leaning toward dehydration… drink water… room temp or warm water. drink till you start to pee a light yellow color.

If that doesn’t work go lay down in a quiet dark room.

I know you mentioned hating pills…but 2-3 Excedrin migraine takes care of my achy head, and I get some serious migraines that’ll make me damn near throw up sometimes. Seriosuly, these things kick in fast and work wonders.

if it’s just on one side of you head (eyesocket + teeth, etc) then you want to research cluster headaches.

If he doesn’t get them often or in a “cluster” then he definitely doesn’t have a cluster headache. More than likely a migraine or he’s just dehydrated from drinking all weekend.

sinus headache or dehydration.

Take some sinus medicine - with this random weather changes in Buffalo recently it most possibly could be that.

even though caffeine dehydrates you drink a soda or something, it will help. and drink a steady amount of water, room temp water hydrates you faster than colder water. and find some where fairly cool dark and quiet and go to sleep.

drinking will dehydrate you. +1 to drink water.

Don’t drink too much… you can also die from drinking too much water as well! LOL

i drank a ton of water, pee’d a lot, and its still here goddamnit. so i just took 2 tylenol, and chased it with a monster. hopefully it works. fml

coughweedcough

You could have a sinus infection. Beating the piss out of your body and the change in weather could have done that…

Fluorescent green boogers?

do not use that “headon” shit that helps with headaches. someone i know right now has a big problem right now going on where they are getting blisters and other horrible things all over there forehead. stay away from this product. it happened just after the first day of using it.

this is what I use all the time …I get the migraine that makes me want to throw up

Find a migraine pressure point at the fleshy part of each hand between thumb and index finger. Using thumb pad and index finger of the other hand, gradually squeeze this migraine pressure point, counting to 10, breathing deeply. Massage, feel change, and slowly release, counting to 10. 10 repetitions.

Using tips of your pointing or middle fingers, massage the points located near the inside ends of eyebrows. These points (as well as all other points in this routine, except for the first pair) should be massaged with strong, circular motions, the pressure has to be (almost) as strong as the patient can tolerate.

Few words about what we are doing here. The pressure points we are using have strong influence on the blood circulation, as they regulate blood pressure and open capillary. Therefore they work as a strong spasmolytic drugs do, relaxing tense muscles and opening capillary where they were blocked.

One of the “side effects” of this explanation is the fact, that to penetrate the pressure point, we need to apply pressure. We do it by pressing the point with the tip of the finger, or, if it is not strong enough, with the second (from the tip) joint of the (bent) pointing or middle finger.

Press with circular moves, as if you are squeezing something in a mortar. This is very important. You are not supposed to press and hold, as it will only provoke a spasm. Instead, imagine that there is a little ball at the point where you are pressing (often there is, as the muscles in the area are contracted), and you need to squeeze, or to spread it.

Also it should be noticed, that while massaging points on, say, front side of the head, you are pushing it back. And to resist this pressure, the person has to use his neck muscles, which, especially when this person has a headache, is not a good thing. To handle this problem, you can hold the person’s head, so that your middle fingers push against the pressure points, while your thumbs are supporting the head from the back (this works if you are giving massage to yourself. If you are doing it on other person, you can press the points with your thumbs, while supporting the head with the palms.

Hyperhydration would be a ridiculous way to die, seizures ftl

Do you take vitamins? if you are low on vitamin B you will get a headache as well. Also, how much salt do you consume? being low on salt will make you feel like death. I usualy drink powerade (my preferance) but any sport drink will help. Eat salt and vin. chips too. if it goes away within like 10 mins you know what it was lol. I drink at least a gallon or more of water every day. dehydration sickness is the pits.

this was a serious post?
