Nah, she’s been really cool about the whole thing, hasn’t tried to mirco manage any part of the build. I think when it comes to projects around the house, I get to make all the decisions. (and pay the bill LOL)
Progress is slow right now, electrical, speaker wires, Cat6, gas lines, and figuring out where I want all that shit. Hopefully insulate and drywall soon so I can start really moving into this thing.

you need to factor in a 25-40% children-crap-spatial-factor… strollers, power-wheels, tricycles, bicycles, associated saftey gear, big boxes they wont let you throw away, random colourful objects they wont let you throw away, racks upon racks of useless toys purchased for them by relatives or dumped onto you by people who went through this already… etc. etc.
then you’ll wish you had that extra 12’.

Insulation, running wire, boring stuff.
Testing out the speaker wire, HDMI, Cat6, Cable, etc. etc.
I had it insulated (didn’t feel like itching for the extra $200) LOL

I hung the 10’ sheets on the wall, for less seams.
Drywall lift helps
This is where it got kinda sketchy. I couldn’t reach the 15’ with a 11’ drywall lift, so I put it on a bench, that I moved around the shop to where I needed it. Plus I only have a 10’ step ladder. Whatever, it got done.

Picked up some cabinets from HD. I couldn’t find any “used” cabinets that were 36" tall to match the window height, but they had a deal on unfinished oak, so I spent a few bucks.
