what kind of motor are you running this on?
b18c stock internals for now, im keepin it to 8psi boost, tuning with either hondata or crome, not sure which one yet… any opinions or insight on tuning?
i have rsx with same turbo it is quick. spools at about 3000 and pulls then ppsshhh
ps : i would use hondata

Ive been on crome for 3 years with many different setups
Stock ls turbo 11.8@118 on bfgs 262 whp
build LSVTEC 10.7 on slicks 507whp
for the cost of crome you can pay for the tune and be done all you need is to chip a p28 or something similar. If you need a basemap burned i have a burner and can get you setup to break the motor in and drive it to hybrid
Hybrids rate are around $300 for crome tuning that is fully tuned on a dyno with some street tuning. the time dennis and i where done tuning between fixing bugs with my car and adjusting boost pressure i was around 35 pulls. (less then $10 a pull) and 5-6 hours on the dyno. and it ran perfect all season with 880cc injectors.
Sorry for so long of a post…but if you have and extra $700 go ahead and buy s300 its great but if you want to save a few bucks or put that money somewhere else like tires/dif/sus thats what i would recomend.

oh, yea the exhaust housing is a t3, i got the turbo from a company in Florida for $1030, well i got it through them, but it arrived directly from Garrett in Cali
I would sell that delta-gate and get a cheap used 35-38mm tial. Deltagate caps blow apart from spring tension over time. Just FYI dont wanna see you blow apart because of something dumb

sweet! what kind of power does 8psi put out?
i think i can expect somewhere around 260hp on the stock internals. my end goal after i build the bottom end and head and lsd in the tranny is to put up like 350whp with a really large powerband… thats why i went with the gt2860rs, more for the efficency thn the max horsepower number.

@ 350 hp with that turbo you will be what about 18-19psi? thats Hard on the motor when you compare it to a bigger turbo.
@20psi on my 60-1 it was 480whp (at the end of the road for that turbo)
To add to that a large power band creates large traction problems!

what do you mean by 18-19psi being hard on the motor with that turbo? whats the difference in the same psi with a different turbo? just confused about what you are saying.
and yea, i will have all kinds of traction problems, i know this.
basically the theory behind the gt28 is that the b18c has no low end torque and im attempting to help the car out in the low end with the wider power band and quicker spool.
