RPRSNTN’

definitely a cool car but werent you looking for something to drive everyday?

This is what I’m going to drive every day. :naughty:

Awesome car but you are just begging for headaches.

you didnt learn the first time? :tounge:

I guess we’ll see… This one is in 4x better condition than my 733i. All the problem areas of this model have been taken care of in the last year, so it should be good for a little while.

Err… everything I need to do to the 7 is already done on this one.

Old-school Euro-pimpin.

I like it a lot. Hope the luck changes with this one.

Thanks, I hope so, too. Probably have around 75 miles on it since I picked it up… so far, so good.

Interesting.

one of my Dad’s friends had a 633CSi that was twin turbo’d (I think it was an '82 or '83). He bought it new & then sent it to some BMW tuning shop. It was charcoal gray with some high end aftermarket wheels.

I know he later bought a fully restored '64 GTO (3x2, 4spd) & decided the BMW was slow, so he just let it sit in his garage. It handled great, though. I remember riding in it about 20 years ago. I think he may still have it all these years later (I run into him once in a while, I’ll have to ask).

Sharp cars, but I don’t think I would DD it. Good luck with it.

That’s cool. If I had a '64 Goat I’m sure mine would sit when the weather’s nice out. But this one’s going to be a driver. It might get some work along the way, but it’s a driver for now.

He sold his GTO to a guy in Austrailia about 10-12 years ago. He got into Harley’s big time. That’s why I’m not sure he would still have the Beemer or not.

good luck with it, looks good

Thanks

Looks good

edit on second look I just bought that same steering wheel it seems. At least I know wtf it is now lol

Dont see too many of these on the road, kinda cool looking. I would try to get rid of that pinstripe.

still going for the 80’s KGB look I see.

It’s pretty nice, I like it. I have the stock one too, but I don’t think I’m going to change them.

Yeah you don’t see too many of these, especially in this area. I think this may have been maybe the 2nd one i’ve seen in real life. The pinstripe is old, dried out, and faded. I’m sure most of it will come off when I hit it with the buffer.

Yep.

Looks good Zack. What are your plans for this project?

Hm… Get it all cleaned up nice when I go home for spring break, maybe some body work to take care of the rust spots it has, then maybe paint… Other than that, just basic upkeep. I want to hang on to this car, maybe restore it some day down the road.
