Aluminum truck motors are cheap. LSx on a budget.
There is something to be said about proven simplicity, and reliability. Being truely unique causes headaches, and problems. If it were that easy/cheap/practical everyone would do it.

Ok not running, 1/2 an engine, rust… How much was it? Cause i had a solid bodied red one with some electrical issues that ran good you could of had cheap

I was drifting the crap out of my Neon at the Dunnville Spring BBQ until I got my car tuned in just right. FWD oversteer is fun…hehe, instead of lifting to bring it back straight, rail on the gas to bring the front back around 
rb cuz they are long n powerfull.
if it was my choice i would put an rb in everything.
